At Dickson Insurance Brokers, we’ve been looking after the insurances of thousands of people and businesses throughout Ireland for over 30 years, so we like to think we know what we’re doing.

Ashley and Ruth Dickson started the business in 1992, and since then it has grown to become one of the UK’s largest independently owned insurance brokers, placing more than £40m of premium on behalf of our clients across the island of Ireland. And we’re still very much a family affair. The business is still fully owned by the Dickson Family, with Ashley and Ruth running the business on a day-to-day basis, supported by their four sons who also work full-time in the business, and the rest of the Dickson team.

And when we’re not looking after our clients, we’re hard at work on our 300 acres of farmland. We have a suckler beef enterprise, we breed pedigree Texel sheep, and have a birth-to-bacon pig herd, so there’s always plenty to do. But there’s always room for other pursuits, and we’ve been involved in motor sport for three generations. All of the Dickson’s have raced in karts and rally cars over the years and continue to do so today.
